來聊聊《悲慘世界》的時代背景吧!

先來個【超簡易版時代背景介紹】
千萬不要看到預告熱血青年拿著旗子揮
就以為這是「法國大革命」好嗎，朋友

《悲慘世界》故事大致發生在19世界初
簡言之就是1801~1850前：

有個時間軸，會比較有概念吼
1789—法國大革命(著名的攻陷巴士底監獄與頒布人權宣言)
1793—法皇路易十六人頭落地
1793-1794—羅伯斯比爾「恐怖統治」時期
1795-1799—法國督政府統治時期
1804—拿破崙稱皇建立法蘭西帝國
1814—波旁王朝復辟，也就是路易十八登基
1830—法國七月革命，路易菲利浦登上王位

故事中的革命是
1832「巴黎共和黨人起義」或稱「六月暴動」喔!
這場起義是由學生主導──
雖然名義上是「共和黨」發起對於君主政體的反抗
但事實上實際在巴黎街頭浴血奮鬥的
卻是一群年齡都在十幾、二十歲的青年學生
他們懷抱著夢想與理念，渴望改變迂腐的政府
消弭社會上的貧富差距，並且推翻獨裁自大的君主體制。

事實上這是一個非常小且迅速被鎮壓的革命
倘若不是雨果在《悲慘世界》針對此事有深刻的描寫
或許就會被淹沒在歷史的洪流中

★雨果筆下的人道關懷--淺談浪漫主義

浪漫主義做為一種藝術理論，它提出的基本問題包括：關於重大真理的性質、人類多種才能的重要性、思想與感覺的關係，以及舊時代與現代的涵義。浪漫主義闡述了一種領會人類全部經驗的新方式，對於有關社會和公共問題的許多思想都產生了影響。

浪漫主義的基本態度是一種無法分類的愛，屬於情緒或印象、情節或故事、情景或語調或具體經歷過的事情。浪漫主義者堅持將感情的價值與理智的價值等同起來。

在1815-1848期間浪漫主義、自由主義、社會主義、女權主義和民族主義都各自成為一股影響社會、政治、文化的力量。但不管是何種主義，都是深刻人道主義思潮，出於一種高度關心人們遭到殘酷打擊而產生的思想。人們已決心去改變那些乞丐、工人、女工以及美洲受奴役人們的悲慘社會地位。

從前，把人的地位降低，把他們當作牲畜驅使，折磨他們，把他們當作抵押品、拆散他們的家庭等等，如今已被歐洲人看作與真正的文明格格不入。基督教關於人身不可侵犯的觀念，如今又以世俗的、更有把握的方式重新提了出來，並著手去解除人類的苦難。
